Trilix AI vs. Synthflow

Searching for a Synthflow alternative or Synthflow's pricing? The pricing page has changed. Synthflow now presents itself as an enterprise voice AI platform, and its pricing page says "Enterprise contracts start at $30,000 annually" (Synthflow pricing). Many older reviews still describe low monthly self-serve plans, so check the date on anything you read.

Trilix AI builds custom phone agents for operators, mostly multi-location auto service groups. We're a competitor for some Synthflow buyers and not for others, and this page tries to make that split clear.

Quick answer

Synthflow now sells enterprise voice AI, with contracts starting at $30,000 a year and forward-deployed engineers for implementation. It's built for contact centers, BPOs and large service teams. Trilix fits operators below that size, or multi-location groups that want a phone agent tied to their POS, bays and reports, priced as a setup fee plus monthly.

Synthflow pricing (checked Oct 2026)

Synthflow's pricing page lists one option, Enterprise, starting at $30,000 a year. It says final pricing depends on "call volume, concurrency, telephony setup, integrations, security needs, and launch support" (Synthflow pricing). The contract includes an SLA, telephony, integrations, security review, implementation, testing, training, launch support and ongoing tuning.

Synthflow's billing docs say calls are metered per second and added up into minutes, unanswered calls count as a flat five seconds, and some older workspaces may still be on legacy billing (Synthflow docs). If you're an existing customer, your agreement sets your rates.

For context, $30,000 a year is $2,500 a month before you know your per-minute rate.

What Synthflow does

From Synthflow's site:

  • A visual flow designer for multi-step agents that call your APIs.
  • Its own phone network, with a claimed latency under 100 milliseconds, or your own SIP trunks.
  • A four-step "BELL" process (Build, Evaluate, Launch, Learn), with simulated test calls before launch and automatic QA after.
  • Connections to contact-center systems such as Cisco, Avaya, Genesys and RingCentral.
  • Industries named on the site include BPOs and call centers, healthcare, financial services and insurance, real estate, retail and telecom.

When Synthflow is the better choice

  • You run a contact center or BPO. Synthflow names the platforms you likely already use and is built for high call volume.
  • You need enterprise terms. Custom SLAs, MSA and DPA terms and a security review come with the contract.
  • Your volume justifies the floor. At contact-center scale, $30,000 a year can be a small part of the phone budget.
  • You want voice, chat, SMS and WhatsApp on one platform. Synthflow lists all of them.

When Trilix fits better

  • You're well below contact-center scale. A group of quick lubes, tire shops, clinics or managed properties rarely needs an enterprise contact-center contract to answer its phones.
  • The agent needs to know what's happening in your stores. Our AI phone agent reads live bay status from TrixLink camera analytics or your POS.
  • You want phones, cameras and reports from one team. Calls land on the executive dashboard next to the numbers you already watch.
  • You want someone else to run it. One of our clients, a multi-store quick lube in Texas, has calls reviewed every 2 hours during shop hours, with fixes made by us (case study).

If you'd rather build on a self-serve platform, our neutral Vapi vs Retell AI page compares two that publish per-minute prices.

What to ask any vendor

  • What's the minimum annual commitment, and what's the per-minute rate above it?
  • What's included in implementation, and what costs extra later?
  • How many calls can run at once, and what happens when you hit the limit?
  • Which of my systems will the agent read from and write to?
  • Who reviews calls after launch, and how fast are fixes made?
  • What do I keep (prompts, flows, recordings) if I leave?
