AI consulting that ends in a working system

A roadmap is useful. A system your team is using on Monday morning is better, and we deliver both.

Trilix AI is an AI consulting and implementation company. We learn how your business runs, decide with you what to build first, build it on the tools you already have and keep it running after launch. One team does all four, so nothing gets lost between the strategy people and the build people.

Quick answer

AI consulting with Trilix AI starts with a 30-minute call and a one-year roadmap, then a written spec you approve, the build itself and a monthly plan to keep it running. One team does all four. Most first builds go live in about 10 days. We work with businesses in the US, Canada, the UK and Europe.

Who this is for

Owners and operators

You run one business or several, and you know AI could take work off your team. You don't have time to evaluate forty tools, and you've maybe already paid for one that nobody uses.

Operations and finance leaders

You have a specific problem: calls going unanswered, a report someone builds by hand every week, a reconciliation that eats two days of every month. You want it fixed, not studied.

Executives with a mandate

The board asked what the company is doing about AI. You need a plan that turns into results you can show, with the risks handled.

Teams burned by a pilot

A previous AI project stalled after the demo. We look at why, and usually the answer is that it was never connected to how the business actually works.

What AI consulting with us includes

A one-year AI roadmap

On the first call we show you what we've built for businesses like yours. Then we lay out a one-year roadmap with you: what to build first, what comes next and how each piece fits the systems you already pay for.

Picking the first build

We look for work that happens often, follows clear rules and can be counted. Missed calls, POS exports into QuickBooks, a weekly report, inspection paperwork. We'll tell you to skip anything that only happens a few times a year.

A written spec you approve

What the system will do, what it connects to, what it won't do and who gets told when something goes wrong. Nothing gets built until you sign off on it.

The build itself

AI phone agents, workflow automation, dashboards, camera analytics, CRMs and knowledge assistants, built by the same people who scoped them. See custom AI development or everything we build.

Running it after launch

A monthly fee covers monitoring, fixes, small changes and the next items on the roadmap. Software changes. A POS update can quietly break an automation, and someone has to be watching.

Consulting firm, software tool or implementation partner

Buyers usually compare three options. Here's how we see the trade-offs, including where we aren't the right fit.

If a standard tool already does what you need, we'll say so on the call. Plenty of problems don't need a custom build.

How an engagement runs

  1. A 30-minute call. We show what we've built, ask how the business runs and sketch the roadmap.
  2. Discovery. We go through your locations, systems, reports and where the hours go. In person around Toronto, over video everywhere else.
  3. Scope. You get the written spec: what it does, what it connects to, what it won't do.
  4. Build and test. On your phone lines, POS, cameras or accounting, with test calls and real exports, before anything faces a customer.
  5. Go live. Most first builds run in about 10 days from an agreed scope. Larger rollouts go live in phases, one location or one workflow at a time.
  6. Keep building. The monthly fee keeps the system running and pays for what comes next on the roadmap.

If you'd rather test the idea first, start with a pilot: one store or one workflow, a fixed setup fee and 30 days to judge it on your own numbers.

What we've built

A few examples from our case studies. Client names stay private.

  • A multi-store quick lube in Texas. An AI front-desk phone agent, plus a second AI agent that reviews its calls every 2 hours and emails the owner only when something looks off. That audit caught the first model ignoring some booking rules, so we moved the agent to a stronger model.
  • A UK holding group running 11 businesses. An AI executive assistant for the chairman: one task tracker, team check-ins three times a day, WhatsApp and voice access and an end-of-day wrap. It reads Jira and Slack without changing anything, and sends nothing without the chairman's approval.
  • An Ontario housing co-op. Paper inspection binders replaced with one digital system for units, playgrounds, fences, taps and lighting, with repair lists that split member and co-op responsibilities.
  • Demo builds for clinics, schools, trucking fleets, manufacturers and finance teams, built on sample data for prospects. They're labelled as demos on every page.

How pricing works

We don't publish a rate card because the work varies too much. A phone agent for one store and a group-wide reporting system are very different jobs.

What we can tell you up front:

  • A one-time setup fee for each build, quoted after the first call once we know the systems involved.
  • A monthly fee after launch that covers hosting, monitoring, fixes, small changes and new items on the roadmap.
  • The main cost drivers are the number of systems we connect to, the number of locations, the number of channels (phone, text, email, WhatsApp) and how much of the work needs AI rather than plain rules.

Pilots have a fixed setup fee, so you know the cost before you start. For pricing models and what other firms publish, read how much custom AI costs.

Where AI fits, and where it doesn't

A lot of good automation has no AI in it. Moving a number from the POS to QuickBooks is plain logic, and we build it that way because it's cheaper and more reliable.

We use AI where it earns its place: answering calls, reading documents, summarising conversations, sorting requests, answering staff questions from your own manuals and drafting first versions for a person to check. We'll tell you which parts use AI and why.

People stay in charge of anything sensitive. Refunds, postings to the books and messages to customers can wait for approval. Every action is logged. You own your data. More on that on data and security.

Frequently asked questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly or call 416-262-2723.

What does an AI consulting company actually do?

It helps you decide where AI is worth using in your business and how to get it working. Some firms stop at strategy. We do the strategy, the build and the ongoing running of the system, so the advice and the result come from the same team.

How is Trilix different from a big consultancy?

We're a small team that builds what we recommend. You talk to the people who write the spec and build the system, starting with me on the first call. We're a good fit when you want a working system in weeks. A large transformation program across dozens of departments is better suited to a large firm.

Do you work with small businesses or only large companies?

Both. We've built for a two-store tire shop and for a holding group running 11 businesses. See AI for small business, AI for mid-sized businesses and enterprise AI.

How long until something is live?

Most first builds run in about 10 days from an agreed scope. Bigger rollouts go live in phases after that.

Which countries do you work in?

We're based in Vaughan, Ontario, and work with businesses across the United States, Canada, the UK and Europe. Most of our current client work is in the US.

Do we need clean data or an IT team first?

No. We start from the systems and exports you already have. If something can't be connected, we tell you before quoting and suggest the next best option.
