Best AI automation agencies for multi-location businesses (2026)

Disclosure: Trilix AI wrote this guide, and we're one of the seven firms on it. We tried to be fair: each entry uses facts from the firm's own website, linked, and we say where other firms fit better than we do. No firm paid to be included.

The best AI automation agency for a multi-location business is one that has shipped systems across several sites, connects to the POS and back-office tools you already run, and maintains what it builds. For franchise systems, look at Phos AI Labs. For enterprise data and ML work, RTS Labs or ML6. For operators who want phones, dashboards and back office from one team, Trilix AI. For low-cost internal apps, LOW/CODE Agency.

Last updated October 23, 2026. Agencies change what they offer and charge, so confirm details with each firm. Every fact below links to the firm's own site.

What multi-location businesses need from an AI agency

A single-site business can get far with one tool and a Zapier account. Once you run five, twenty or a hundred locations, the problems change:

  • Every location is a little different. Hours, services, prices, staff and sometimes the POS. Automations need rules by location, not one setup copied everywhere.
  • The data is scattered. Sales in the POS, labor in payroll, calls in the phone system, reviews on Google. The value usually comes from joining them.
  • Rollout matters. You want to prove it at one or two sites before touching the rest.
  • Somebody has to maintain it. A POS update can break an automation at every site at once.

We judged each firm on five things: evidence of work for multi-site or franchise businesses, how it connects to existing systems, whether it maintains what it builds, whether it publishes anything about pricing, and who it says it's for.

The agencies, one by one

Phos AI Labs

Phos describes itself as "the AI department for $5M+ companies," working in three phases: consulting, team enablement and implementation (Phos AI Labs). It's one of the few firms that publishes prices. AI discovery starts at $10,000 for companies under 100 employees, and ongoing implementation "typically runs $10,000 to $50,000 a month, depending on scope."

Its own roundup of franchise AI firms puts Phos first and describes its fit as franchise systems of 10 to 500 locations and multi-unit groups of 5 or more, working at both franchisor and franchisee level (Phos franchise roundup). Phos says it is the AI consulting practice of the team behind LOW/CODE Agency.

Pick it if: you run a franchise system and want help at both the brand and the store level. Watch for: the monthly implementation range is a real commitment. Ask what's delivered each month.

RTS Labs

RTS Labs is based in Glen Allen, Virginia, and has been in business since 2010. It calls itself a "boutique applied AI firm for high-growth companies" (RTS Labs). Its services run from AI strategy and readiness assessments to data engineering, machine learning, generative AI and agents, and workflow automation, for sectors including finance, logistics, insurance, real estate and manufacturing.

In its own roundup of AI consulting firms, RTS Labs says full-cycle enterprise engagements range from the mid-six to low-seven figures (RTS Labs roundup).

Pick it if: you're a larger company with data engineering and ML needs, and a budget to match. Watch for: likely more than a ten-store operator needs for a first project.

Trilix AI

That's us. Trilix AI is a custom AI company in Vaughan, Ontario. We build AI phone agents, camera analytics, multi-location dashboards and back-office automation, mostly for multi-location operators in the US, and also in Canada, the UK and Europe.

Our client work includes an AI front desk and call-audit agent for a multi-store quick lube in Texas, camera AI with daily and weekly reports for a quick lube and car wash operator, and an AI executive assistant for a UK holding group running 11 businesses. We also show demo builds on sample data, labelled as demos. Most first builds go live in about 10 days from an agreed spec, then a monthly fee covers maintenance and the next builds. More on our AI automation agency page.

Pick it if: you run several locations and want phones, reporting and back-office work built and maintained by one small team. Watch for: we're a small team and we don't publish prices. If you need a large program across dozens of departments, a bigger firm is a better fit.

LOW/CODE Agency

LOW/CODE Agency builds custom software for businesses, "from internal tools and CRMs to AI-powered automation," using platforms such as Glide, Bubble, FlutterFlow and Webflow as well as custom code (LOW/CODE Agency). Its homepage says it has built 400+ projects and that it has joined the OpenAI Partner Network.

Pick it if: you need internal apps, portals or a CRM for your locations and want to keep the build cost down. Watch for: low-code platforms have limits. Ask how the app will handle your data volume and what happens if you outgrow the platform.

HatchWorks AI

HatchWorks is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with nearshore engineering in San José, Costa Rica and Medellín, Colombia (HatchWorks AI). It offers AI strategy through to production agent platforms and embeds senior engineers with client teams. Its site shows a 4.9 rating from 29 reviews on Clutch.

Pick it if: you have an internal tech team and want to add AI engineering capacity in US time zones. Watch for: it's a better fit for companies with software teams than for an operator without one.

ML6

ML6 calls itself a "frontier AI engineering company" with "over a decade of proven expertise," and is active in Ghent, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Berlin and Munich (ML6). It offers AI advisory, governance and engineering, with agentic, vision and voice AI. Its industry list includes retail and e-commerce, FMCG, energy and utilities, and financial services.

Pick it if: you're a European enterprise and want a partner close to home with governance built in. Watch for: built for enterprise programs. Smaller operators may find it more than they need.

10Clouds

10Clouds is based in Warsaw, Poland, and has been building software since 2009 (10Clouds). Its AI work includes AI agents and assistants, with a strong lean toward banks, insurers and fintechs. Its site shows a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 95 reviews on Clutch.

Pick it if: you're in financial services, or need a product engineering partner with a long track record. Watch for: less focus on store or site operations than the firms higher on this list.

How to choose

  1. Ask for a live system, not a demo. A screen share of something running for a real client tells you more than any slide.
  2. Ask how they'll connect to your POS, payroll and phones. A good answer names the integration or export for each one.
  3. Ask how they roll out across locations. One or two sites first, then the rest, with rules by location.
  4. Ask what the monthly fee includes. Monitoring, fixes, changes and new builds should be listed in writing.
  5. Ask who owns the data and the accounts. It should be you.

FAQ

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly or call 416-262-2723.

What is the best AI automation agency for a franchise?

For franchise systems that want help at both the brand and store level, Phos AI Labs is built around that. For franchisees and multi-unit operators who want phones, dashboards and back-office automation from one team, Trilix AI is a fit. Ask any agency for a live system at a multi-site client.

How much does an AI automation agency cost for a multi-location business?

Published figures vary widely. Phos AI Labs lists discovery from $10,000 and implementation from $10,000 to $50,000 a month. RTS Labs says enterprise engagements run from the mid-six to low-seven figures. Many firms, including Trilix, quote per project after a call.

Should I hire an agency or buy software?

If one product already does what you need across your locations, buy it. Hire an agency when the work spans several systems, the rules change by location, or you're paying for three tools to do one job.

How did you choose the firms on this list?

We looked for firms that build AI automation for operating businesses and publish enough on their own sites to compare. We included firms that fit different buyers better than we do, and we don't always rank ourselves first.
