A Job Management Platform for a Glass and Shower Door Installer
Every job, quote, crew and invoice in one place, with a short briefing waiting each morning.
This is a demo build. It runs on sample jobs and test data. We keep the business's name private.
The problem
This installer does custom glass work in Western Canada: frameless shower enclosures, mirror walls, glass railings and sliding doors.
Every job passes through a lot of hands. Someone measures. Someone quotes. The glass gets ordered and cut. A crew installs. Someone invoices.
When all of that lives across spreadsheets, texts and memory, things slip. A quote sits too long. A crew shows up for a job where the glass isn't ready. The owner hears about a problem after the customer calls.
What we built
We built one platform that follows a job from first quote to final invoice.
It's split into modules: dashboard, job pipeline, quotes, scheduling, production, invoicing, reports and clients. Each one covers a step the business already does, so nobody has to learn a new way of working.
On top of that sits an AI morning briefing. When the owner opens the platform, it lays out what needs attention today: jobs that are stuck, installs at risk, quotes waiting on a reply.
What's in it
- Dashboard. Active jobs with their status and pricing, at a glance.
- Job pipeline. A stage tracker that shows where every job sits, from quote to installed.
- Quotes. Build and track quotes for each job type.
- Scheduling. A daily installation schedule with crew assignments.
- Production. Track the glass work that has to happen before a crew can install.
- Invoicing. Bill finished jobs from the same record.
- Reports. A revenue chart and the views the owner checks each week.
- Clients. One record per customer, with their jobs attached.
- AI morning briefing. Operational alerts at the start of each day.
- Job types built in. Frameless shower enclosures, mirror walls, glass railings and sliding doors.
What it would take to go live
The demo runs on sample jobs. A live version would run on the real ones.
We learn the business first. How quotes get priced, what slows production, how crews get assigned, what the owner looks at first thing in the morning.
We build to spec. Stages, job types, pricing and reports match how the shop actually works. Existing customer and job records come across where that makes sense.
Live in about 10 days. Once scope is agreed, a first working version is usually live in about 10 days.
The client owns their data. Jobs, customers and pricing stay with the business.
