Demo build on sample data

A call agent and dispatch command center for a towing fleet

One call followed from the first ring to the paid invoice, and what each person sees along the way.

This is a demo build. It runs on sample data. We keep the company's name private.

What we built
  • An AI call agent that opens the ticket
  • Truck assignment with the reasons shown
  • A driver app
  • Customer texts and an owner dashboard

The problem

Towing runs on the phone. Someone is stuck on a highway shoulder and they call the first number that answers. If the line rings out or goes to voicemail, that job goes to the next company.

The dispatcher is doing three jobs at once: taking the call, writing down the details, and working out which truck is free and close. Then the customer calls back asking where the truck is, and the cycle starts again.

The owner usually sees the day after it's over. Which trucks earned, which drivers were slow, which invoices are still open. By then it's too late to move a truck or chase a payment.

What we built

An AI call agent that opens the ticket

It answers around the clock and asks the questions a good dispatcher would: location, vehicle, whether it rolls, flatbed or wheel-lift, drop-off, caller details, insurance or roadside plan. The ticket fills in as it talks.

Truck assignment with the reasons shown

A fleet map with a recommended truck and why: distance, traffic, truck type, driver hours and how well the driver knows that stretch of road. An active jobs board shows dispatched, en route, on scene and hauling.

A driver app

Accept or decline, one-tap navigation, required pre-tow photos, and voice notes that get transcribed onto the ticket. A driver saying "picked up" or "delivered" updates the ticket, the customer and the invoice.

Customer texts and an owner dashboard

Customers get texts with the driver's name, ETA, live tracking and a receipt. The owner sees jobs, revenue per truck and per driver, response time, utilization, missed calls and open receivables on one screen.

What's in it

  • Live ticket queue with a status for every job.
  • Driver leaderboard, revenue by source and short alerts on what the owner should know.
  • Modules ready to switch on: insurance and police tow records, fleet maintenance, billing and collections, storage yard management and contract profitability.

What it would take to go live

Start small. One phone line and a few trucks, running next to the current dispatcher for 30 days.

The agent learns the real rules. Service area, rates, what counts as a flatbed job, how police and insurance calls are handled. We write that with the owner and test it on recorded calls before it touches a live one.

Connect what's already there. Most fleets already have GPS on the trucks, so we connect to it. Texts and payments go through the company's own number and card processor, and tickets land in the dispatch or accounting software it already uses.

Decide together at day 30. We look at the pilot with the owner and decide whether to roll it to the whole fleet.
